Imes provide a range of proof load testing services as part of its engineering capability.

Proof load testing of cranes and structures is performed to satisfy the regulatory authorities of the integrity of load bearing systems. Through use of water bags, designed by our sister company Water Weights, Imes can provide a complete engineered solution from planning to execution.

 A range of load monitoring instruments can be supplied to provide additional data to verify the loads applied and structural response of the system under test.

Imes started life in 1979 with the creation of Water Weights who pioneered the introduction of water bags to replace the traditional expensive method of proof load testing using solid weights. Imes has developed as an engineering services provider and operates closely with our sister company Water Weights.
