Load Cells Imes offers a comprehensive range of load cells and force transducers categorized under Standard and Custom load cells. The range includes significant variations in capacity, material of construction, certification, approval and accuracy to enable our clients to obtain optimum performance for their selected application. The Standard category includes those load cells that can be used in a borad range of applications that are general in category. It includes types such as bending beam, bending ring, shear beam, compression, tension and compression, single point, button and many more. The capacity ranges from 50lb/25kg to 5,000ton/5,000tonne. The Custom category includes those load cells that have been designed for a defined application, frequently a single industry. These are not as readily available and therefore are often desinged and produced for the client on an order-by-order basis. The range includes large capacity transducers for sub-sea tether measurement on offshore platform, anchor line measurement, wedge sockets for tie-off points in crane load measurement, rolling mill force measurement, etc. Load Shackles Imes radio telemetry link is the base model withiin load link range. Microprocessor-based electronics within this model provide excellent power management and ensure maximum operational life from standard alkaline batteries. Instruments The specifying and subsequent design of an accurate weighing or force measurement system can prove complicated, especially at areas of interface between the load cell, signal processing instrument and control system. Provided these interfaces are understood and correctly matched, the equipment will perform as specified and fully meet the process requirements. Load Pins Load pins are designed to substitute a normal pin and supply an electrical signal proportional to the load applied. Variants available in carbon and stainless steel with a capacity range of one to one hundred tonne.
