Bending Beam Load Cell The bending beam stainless steel load cells are available in capacities from 11lb/5kg to 1,100lb/500kg with accuracy grades, defined as total error, from 0.05% to 0.015%. Some models in the series have approvals from the following legislative organization OIML/NTP/ATEX/FM. As load is applied to one end of the beam, it bends causing changes in the strain gauges bonded to the beam. The design makes it ideal for either single or multiple load cell applications where a vertical load/force is applied and side load is minimized.
