History
Imes originated in 1979 with the establishment of Water Weights. Water Weights is the originator of the water-filled proof load bag used to proof load testing cranes and other lifting equipment. Since then, a range of companies have joined the group to provide integrity management services to the marine, defence, oil and gas and nuclear industries.
The group comprises a range of specialist businesses including Imes Inc and Davy Systems all of whom deliver integrity based solutions to our customers.
Our services extend from bespoke offshore engineering services through to providing a broad range of waterfront engineering support services.
Imes has offices in the UK, and the USA as well as a network of agents throughout the world.
