Imes Ltd have extensive experience of analysis of offshore structures which have load bearing characteristics.

Recent projects have included structural survey of an offshore heli-deck located in the UKCS as part of a client request to increase the load rating of the deck.

Imes senior engineers were contracted to conduct a review of the as built drawing package and undertake a visual examination offshore. A report was subsequently prepared with recommendations covering requirements for re-furbishment, repair and scope for permanent monitoring of critical load paths using state of the art instrumentation.
