The Inspection Technician role ...

Forming part of our ad-hoc inspection team, will take a lead role on LOLER inspection surveys across the UK, offshore and internationally consisting of site, vessel and platform locations. You will be required to carry out thorough examinations and load testing on all aspects of lifting equipment including dive system inspections, wire rope inspection and lifeboat davit systems. This is a great opportunity if you’re looking to work in varied, busy and hands on environment.

 

The successful Inspection Technician ...

  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential, with relevant and significant experience in cranes, lifting equipment, lifeboat davit systems and dive system inspections. Wire rope spooling experience will be advantageous.

  • Knowledge and experience of lifting equipment inspection / load testing and hold a minimum of three LEEA qualifications

  • Previous offshore experience, and ideally have valid offshore medical, Survival and MIST certificates

  • Level 2 Eddy Current, MPI, & DPI experience essential

  • Competent Rigger certificate advantageous

  • Experience of wire rope socketing and NDT desirable

  • Rope Access level 1 qualification and experience desirable

  • Crane inspection certification desirable
